Betting Markets We Cover

Below are the betting markets we cover and offer suggestions for in our picks. Check back here as we are always adding more to our portfolio. If you are looking for any in particular that you don't see below, let us know!

The Primary Markets
These are the most heavily traded, mathematically efficient markets in the world.
-
Moneyline: A straightforward bet on who will win the game outright.
-
Spread: Wagering on the point differential handicap set by the sportsbook.
-
Over Under: Wagering on the combined total score of both teams at the end of the game.

Full-Game Player Props
We use our 10-20 game recency windows and position-adjusted defensive metrics to find +EV edges in standard full-game markets. We do not advise one way or another on laddering but do provide the percentile bounds relative to our projected minutes (20th and 80th) to dictate a reasonable expectation of what to expect in terms of volatility.
-
Points O/U: Total points scored by a player.
-
Rebounds O/U: Total rebounds (offensive + defensive) secured.
-
Assists O/U: Total assists recorded.
-
Threes O/U: Total three-point field goals made.
-
Steals O/U: Total steals recorded.
-
Blocks O/U: Total blocks recorded.

The First-Action Micro-Markets
These are our most volatile markets. They involve a single outcome happening or not, and normally have higher odds because they are less likely to happen. We occasionally find some value-priced wagers that yield a healthy +EV but we never approach the "this player is due" approach and assume that the likelihood is greater if the outcome has not happened recently.
-
Team to Win Opening Tip: A binary market on which team secures the first possession. We map center jump-ball win percentages to find pricing opportunities.
-
First Possession Result (Team) / Exact (Team): Wagering on the specific outcome of a team's very first trip down the floor (e.g., Score, Turnover, Missed FG). Exact requires pinpointing the specific event type.
-
Team to Score the First Field Goal: Predicting which team puts the first non-free-throw points on the board.
-
First Field Goal Scorer (Team) / Exact (Team): Wagering on which player on a specific team hits their first shot.
-
First Field Goal Type / Exact: Predicting whether the first basket of the game will be a Layup, Dunk, Two-Point Jumper, or Three-Pointer.
-
1st Points Scorer / 1st Scorer Type: Betting on the exact player to score the first points of the game, and by what method.
-
First Dunk Scorer / 1st Three Point Scorer: Highly specific micro-markets predicting the first player to record these exact shot types.
-
1st Assist / Block / Rebound / Steal Recorded: Predicting the first player to register a specific peripheral stat.
The Time-Boxed Micro Markets
Sometimes bettors prefer wagering in the first periods of the game. They are often challenging for bettors to value because the data is not as easy to find. For our customers' convenience we collect and post the game data daily, for free. Like the other micro-markets, we apply a stricter +EV filter here because they can be higher variance (not always).
The First 3 Minutes (12:00 - 9:00 Q1)
-
Points / Rebounds / Assists - 1st 3 Mins Player: Wagering on a player's output strictly within the first 180 seconds of the game.
-
Three Pointers Made - 1st 3 Mins (Team) / Total Three Pointers Made - 1st 3 Mins: A macro market on the total volume of threes hit before the clock hits 9:00.

The First Quarter (Q1)
-
Points / Rebounds / Assists - Q1 Player: Wagering on a player's stat line for the first quarter only. This is one of our most profitable sectors, as we can isolate starting rotations before bench minutes muddy the data.
Combination & Superlative Markets (Combos, Both, H2H, Most)
The best way to describe these is that they require both the player to meet a stat expectation as well as other players (or the field in the case of Most) to either contribute to a combined score (Combos), perform less than the wagered player in an isolated matchup (H2H) or require that both players meet the minimum bar in a double-staked over/under (Both). We occasionally find value-priced wagers in here and will only recommend them if they are above a healthy +EV.
-
Combined Player (Points / Rebounds / Assists / Threes): Wagering on the sum total of two specific players' stats (e.g., Player A + Player B Over 45.5 Points).
-
Both Player (Points / Rebounds / Assists / Threes): A conditional market where both players must hit a specific minimum threshold (e.g., Player A 20+ Points AND Player B 20+ Points).
-
H2H (Head-to-Head) Player - Points / Rebounds / Assists / Threes: A direct matchup market predicting which of two listed players will record the higher total in a specific statistical category.
-
Most Points / Rebounds / Assists / Threes - Player: Wagering on a specific player to lead the entire game (or team) in a given category.
